Supearl^® Non-Dust Pearlescent Pigments

It is a kind of new product especially tailor-made for plastic industrial. Specifically, pre-disperse the product, coating the ordinary product with a layer of low molecular weight PET. This kind of product is the perfectly suitable for plastic application.

Ordinary pearlescent pigment usually exists in powder. So, dust emission cannot avoid in the application. It is turning into a serious problem as people is paying more and more attention on environment, safety, and health problems. Therefore, we company developed Supearl^® plastic anti-dust pearlescent pigment with granules appearance against plastic industry, which are in granules. Untreated ordinary pearlescent pigments are hydrophilic essentially. So, they are easily be moisture and dispersed by nonpolar material such as hydrocarbons and plastic. In order to disperse the pearlescent pigments in plastic better, it is necessary to do surface organic process. That is why Supearl^® plastic anti-dust pearlescent pigments are also called pre dispersed pearlescent pigments.
