Applications

Crystru® security Pigments used in inks and coatings that require high-grade or special metallic effects. Applicable to the decoration for plastic parts of home appliances, digital products, cosmetics and toys, and to the surface coating of art crafts, leather coatings and decorative inks etc. When used as primer for spray coatings, the spray effect of Crystru® security Pigments can partially replace plating.

When used in inks to be printed on a transparent plastics, Crystru® security Pigments could create a metallic effect similar to chrome plating on the back side.

This series of products is suitable for printing on screen, flexo, gravure and so on.
 

Crystru® Optical Variable Pigments

It consists of optically variable films of specific spectral properties. According to specific film structure design, we use the high vacuum coating technology, precisely control the thickness and order of each film layer, then coat the pulverized and classified films, and make the films sequentially deposited on the same carrier to form the optical color changing pigments. Multi-layer films of different thicknesses cause optical interference effects, resulting in discoloration effects from different angles. The same pigments can change different colors from 0-45 degrees.

It is widely used in printing on screen, flexo, embossing and gravure etc. Its formulated security inks have variable color effects, which is the key to optical color-changing inks. It is also suitable for coatings such as surface coating.

Crystru® Holographic Optical Variable Pigments

Based on the traditional color changing materials, Crystru® laser variable pigments create excellent color change and unique metallic effect by its special five-layer film structure design. Besides those pigments are with very strong three-dimensional effect. Belonging to the latest high-end patented security technology, its authentication is easy to identify by naked eyes and readable by regular magnetic detectors.

Crystru® Laser variable ink which is formulated by laser variable pigments, makes security unique because the particles in ink demonstrate vivid color shift effects from different angles after orientation and solidification by specific magnetic plate and devices.
